Young ecologists settled down and installed a field laboratory in the village of Molodezhnoye on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. Here they study the condition of the water objects of St. Petersburg and the region.
During the trip to the Malaya Sestra River and the Sestroretsky Spill reservoir, the participants of the Bios-school took samples of water and sediments, and then conducted hydrochemical and hydrobiological analyses in the laboratory. The guys studied meteorological indicators and physical properties of water, determined the dissolved oxygen content and the hydrogen index, measured morphophysiological characteristics.
