According to the results of monitoring, the Saint-Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design has taken high positions among Russian universities, which most successfully involve the audience on their own information resources and promote their scientific and technological achievements through specialized media.

At the first stage, 270 Russian universities fall under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Education are included in the ratings.
In the rating of universities' representation in popular science media, the Saint-Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design took the 39th position among 270, entering the top 50. To compile the rating, the monitoring of mentions of universities in popular scientific media and their social networks was carried out.
In the rating of audience engagement on its own resources, the SUITD entered the top 100 by the end of January 2023, taking 77th place. The study included an assessment of the effectiveness of the university's communication through the official website and pages on social networks, in particular, the VKontakte group and the Telegram channel.
