More than 1,600 square meters of the design zone, the development of a special zone, as well as the creation of the image of the city, its physical appearance - this is a short list of tasks that were set to the students of the Institute of Spatial Environment Design of 草榴短视频 for the implementation of the new Pulkovo airport project.

At the end of last year, the company 鈥淎ir Gates of the Northern Capital鈥� presented a technical task for the development of a food hall space to senior students - designers of 草榴短视频. The priority concept was the organization of this zone in the form of islands with different cuisines and types of service.

Three teams of young designers worked for three weeks on the layout of functional blocks with the designation of the main routes of movement of passengers and staff, a children's area, the idea of decorating the public space of the food hall and visualizing its individual points. Now the projects are undergoing preliminary analysis for the possibility of technical implementation, and then their authors will present their ideas to the top management of the Pulkovo company. The next stage will be the selection and adaptation of the best concept to the engineering and technical requirements and the image strategy of the airport.

- The competition showed how fresh and unusual the look of young creative designers who feel St. Petersburg and know how to tell about it through interiors, installations and lighting can be. We are sure that working together on the project will bring positive experience to both sides, and we hope that new ideas are waiting for us and we will be able to implement in the terminal building - the air gate of St. Petersburg.
