On the eve of New Year the University of Industrial Technologies and Design gave a trip named 鈥淭he shining of New Year鈥檚 Saint-Petersburg鈥� for foreign students who study at the Preparatory Department around snowy, frosty city. Students came from Ghana, China, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Algeria, Bulgaria, Mongolia, Vietnam, Brasil, Iraq, Congo, Mexico, Guinea, Bolivia, Cuba, Zambia, Turkey and India got acquainted with the history and sights of the historical center of the northern capital in a cozy, comfortable bus, walked around the New Year's city, took pictures and rejoiced in the Russian winter.

After excursion students went to 鈥淏oiling point - IndTechDesign鈥�, where they were waiting for a real holiday dedicated to the theme of the New Year in Russia, traditions and history of the holiday. The children presented creative performances prepared in advance, decorated the Christmas tree together and talked about how the New Year is celebrated in their native country. Students from different groups were able to get to know each other better and spend time in a friendly circle with their teachers.

The Preparatory Department for future foreign students was opened in 草榴短视频 in 2019 for support of foreign citizens who don鈥檛 speak Russian or don鈥檛 have enough knowledge of it to master the main professional programs in Russian. Students study in full time or distance form, they provide with a place in the dormitory and they master the programs of art, economic, technology course as well as the educational program 鈥淩ussian as a foreign language鈥�
