The field of activity of the specialist who has finished the educational program 鈥淭echnology of artistic processing of materials鈥� is the creation of an artistic image and the development of technology for making art and jewelry using information technologies and modern equipment, the development of author's projects of design objects, the development of technology for the restoration of cultural heritage objects, research activities.

Students receive serious theoretical training in the field of design and technology of applied art products, and also have a unique opportunity to implement their creative ideas in the workshops of the institute and leading enterprises for the production of art and jewelry, both in Russia and abroad. Graduates successfully work as designers, restorers, specialists at industrial enterprises, in organizations that carry out the examination of the technical condition and the assessment of the aesthetic value of design objects, as well as apply their knowledge in educational, methodological, pedagogical and research activities. Graduates can continue their studies in the master's program in the direction of 鈥淒ecorative and applied arts and crafts鈥�, the profile 鈥淎rtistic processing of materials鈥� and postgraduate studies in the specialty 鈥淭echnical aesthetics and design鈥�.
