A team of students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Institute of Information Technology and Automation of St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design "Assembly Point" became the winner of the youth engineering competition "Digital Solutions in Engineering Problems", which was held as part of the V International Kosyginsky Forum "Modern Problems of Engineering Sciences. A distinctive feature of the development carried out by the team is the use of layout geometry in the project with parameterization of the main dimensions of parts and assemblies. The WYBERG hot water boiler model contains 12 versions. The developed 3D model allows you to obtain a set of design documentation: specifications, assembly drawings, working drawings of parts.

The program of the final stage included a field trip to the CHPP-26 of Mosenergo PJSC, consultations with experts and finalizing the presentation of the competitive project, an engineering quest, reports from the experts of the competition, project defense, and awarding of winners.
