On December 3, 2025, a study tour was held for 3rd and 4th year students studying in the field of "Congress and Exhibition activities" of the Brand Communications Department. Under the guidance of Associate Professor Veronika Vladimirovna Smirnova, future event industry specialists visited a unique site 鈥� the First Branch Library of the event industry named after S. N. Trofimov.

The library, which opened in February 2025, has already become a significant professional resource. Its funds contain specialized scientific literature, relevant research materials, industry dictionaries and periodicals that will contribute to the in-depth development of disciplines not only in the convention and exhibition area, but also in related fields such as brand management.

The tour provoked a lively response from the students. They highly appreciated both the substantial content of the funds and the modern, working atmosphere of the space.

It was a real discovery for us. Our field is directly related to the organization of events, forums, congresses, and in this library all scientific and professional literature is aimed at studying the event field. Many of us are definitely planning to come back here more than once.

It's a very atmospheric library, which is a pleasure to be in. There is a huge amount of professional literature that can help in writing various papers 鈥� from coursework to diploma. There are rare copies, as well as literature in a foreign language. This library is a good support for students of the congress and exhibition activities profile.
