Maria Skryleva, a student at the Institute of Design and Arts of Ƶ, a student at the University Center for Chinese Language Study and Testing, created the painting "Full Moon Mirror. Moon Rabbit Yutu", inspired by the legends of the Moon Festival, or Mid-Autumn Festival, which is celebrated annually in China.
Maria Skryleva, a student at the University of Industrial Technology and Design, has been studying Chinese at the university for the second year. His work "Full Moon Mirror. The Yutu Moon Rabbit was made by Maria using the technique of hand-painted paints on glass on a mirror base using shiny powder.
The painting is a magical portal connecting traditional Chinese legend with modern art. In the center of the composition is the Yutu Rabbit, a symbol of longevity, devotion and rebirth. The image of a rabbit pushing the elixir of immortality brings good luck and harmony to the house. The mirror itself is not only a functional object, but also acts as the surface of the full moon, reflecting light. It symbolizes reunification and wholeness, which is the main theme of the Zhongqiujie festival. The drawing looks voluminous and mystically shines, playing with soft silver, deep blue and gold shades, creating the feeling of a cool autumn night.

The student also created an animation for her painting, bringing it to life. In bright light, the rabbit soars in the moonlight, and in the evening, the work reflects the candlelight, enhancing the magical effect and filling the space with harmony.
