The Representative Office of the Komi Republic in St. Petersburg officially launched the annual project "Freshman Day-2025". The series of meetings opened on September 29 at the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technology and Design, where first-year students who came to study from the Komi Republic gathered.

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere, which allowed for a direct and open dialogue. The staff of the Representative Office not only spoke in detail about the directions of their work, but also conveyed to the students a key idea: doors are always open for them, and fraternity is a reliable support away from home.

The presentation of the representatives was informative and practice-oriented. The students learned:

• About the activities of the representative office: what tasks does it solve and what kind of support can it provide to students in solving various issues;
• About opportunities for professional and personal growth;
• About cultural life and events: Students were informed about upcoming events dedicated to Komi culture, which will help them stay in touch with their small homeland.
