Yesterday, the Second Russian鈥擟hinese Forum "Culture of Education" was held at the site of the National Research University Higher School of Economics - St. Petersburg. Representatives of the Government of St. Petersburg, the Consulate General of China in St. Petersburg, delegates from 100 leading Chinese universities and representatives of Russian universities discussed the possibilities and prospects of Russian-Chinese international cooperation in the field of higher education.

The organization of humanitarian exchanges and joint projects, as well as solutions to the challenges facing Russian and Chinese universities in preparation for the years 2026-2027, announced as the cross years of education between Russia and China, became the main topics of discussion.

The delegation of our university at the forum was headed by the head of the Department of International Integration and educational programs, A.Y. Pastukhov, and the head of the Department of International Projects and Educational Programs, L.A. Karpova, made a presentation, noting the long-term and multifaceted development of international relations at our university and the promising development of creative international projects. The forum was also attended by teachers of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science of the Higher School of Technology and Energy I.V. Remizova and N.L. Leonova, graduate student of the Department of History and Theory of Arts Yang Xianyu helped the organizers of the forum as a volunteer and translator.

Several Chinese universities have expressed their interest and intention to develop friendly relations with our university and take part in organizing joint programs and events of mutual interest. Following the meeting, the heads of our delegation signed several memorandums of intent to develop cooperation with universities from Harbin, Tianjin, Hangzhou and Nanchang city.
