Evgeniya Lysogorova, a student of the profile "Advertising and public relations in creative industries" at St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, launched a startup of innovative accessories "artmone" made of eco-friendly nonwoven tyvek material.

Accessories from tyvek are ultra-durable and resistant to moisture. In addition, artmone products are tamper-proof and offer a variety of designs. The startup plans to collaborate with artists, galleries and museums. The team is currently obtaining patents for unique technologies for assembling and printing products.

"We want people to look at the accessories they use differently. After all, with the proliferation of bank cards, we no longer need to carry large wallets with us. Therefore, the idea of thin, light, at the same time durable and environmentally friendly wallets was embodied in the startup "artmone". Compared to products from other brands also made of eco-friendly materials, such as eco-leather, our wallets are thinner and lighter: they are only 5 mm thick and weigh only 12 grams. They fit comfortably in a pocket or a small handbag, they are almost weightless in the hand," says Evgenia Lysogorova, the startup's leader and a student at St. Petersburg State University.

Tyvek is an ultra—durable moisture-resistant nonwoven fabric used in construction, medicine, space and automotive industries. Due to their characteristics, artmone wallets from tyvek are able to serve for a long time, and then they can be recycled into other products.

Another advantage of artmone is that wallets are equipped with an RFID anti—hacking function, a special material sewn into the lining that blocks the chip's signal and protects personal data from fraudsters.

"The startup's target audience is young people who value environmental friendliness, simplicity and convenience of products, as well as bright attention—grabbing designs. It can also be parents who want to give their child an interesting and safe accessory, and tourists who are looking for unusual souvenirs for themselves or their loved ones. In addition to the designs we offer, customers have the opportunity to purchase custom-designed purses from Tyvek. We plan to expand the range through collaboration with artists, galleries and museums," says Evgenia.

So far, the brand only produces wallets, but soon it plans to create cardholders and passport covers, and in the future — backpacks, clothes and interior items.

The startup's team is currently obtaining a patent for the technology of printing on a material with an inkjet printer and the technology of assembling products using holitens and without the use of glue. After two years of experimenting with printing and fastening technologies, the startup is introducing accessories that are guaranteed not to come apart at the seams and not lose their brightness.
