Alice Vygovskaya, a student of the Department of Monumental Art at St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, developed an artistic sketch for the stained glass window of the facade of the Likhachev Plant Cultural Center (ZIL) in Moscow to implement the project using slide mapping technology, that is, through digital image projection onto the building. The work was performed as part of the student's thesis.
The project is a monumental composition adapted to modern projection art technologies, while maintaining stylistic unity with the architectural ensemble.
The student conducted research on ZIL's achievements and its contribution to the development of the Soviet automotive industry.
The stained glass window takes us back to the era of the factory's construction and its grandiose accomplishments, including ZIL's significant contribution to the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
In her project, Alisa has captured the images of ZIL's workers and the milestones of its illustrious history as a symbol of creativity.
