A solemn ceremony honoring the best graduates of the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technology and Design took place in the Atrium of the Peter and Paul Fortress. The event is a good tradition of the university, which graduates are proud of and students are looking forward to.

After awarding diplomas with honors and passing graduates along the red carpet, all those present went to Naryshkin Bastion, where a midday shot from the signal cannon of the Peter and Paul Fortress took place in honor of all graduates of St. Petersburg State University.

On this day, more than seven hundred graduates of the university received the coveted red diplomas.: one hundred and fifty-five masters, three hundred and sixty-one bachelors, eleven specialists and one hundred and ninety-eight graduates of secondary vocational education who graduated from the colleges of the University of Industrial Technology and Design. Graduates were awarded diplomas by Alexey Demidov, Chairman of the Council of Rectors of Universities in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, Rector of St. Petersburg State University of Applied Sciences, as well as directors of institutes and higher schools of the University.
