The Center for Creative Industries of St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design hosted the summer school for students of VisCom 2025, aimed at additional training in the field of visual communications in advertising, design and fashion.

"In the modern world, visual communications are replacing verbal communications. Specialists from different subject areas must have visual communication skills in order to present their projects. A university graduate in the field of advertising, design and fashion who knows how to apply visual communication technologies can succeed in his profession in an environment where, in addition to the usual question from an employer: "Tell me, what can you do?" he will also be able to answer the question: "Show me what you can do!",- the organizers note.

The first third of the classes were devoted to photographing an advertising image for a magazine cover, the second to videotaping an advertising video, and the third to creating multimedia content using artificial intelligence technologies.

Thirty students studying at the Department of Advertising and Public Relations of the Institute of Business Communications of St. Petersburg State University of Applied Sciences participated in the classes of the summer school and decided to acquire additional competencies in the field of visual communications in advertising, design and fashion.

"Photography, mobile videography, and neural networks provide the means and language for imaginative visual communication. The formation of competencies in the field of photography, mobile videography and neural networks will allow you to think and communicate in your profession in a "mobile format", mastering the visual language of technology and design," added the curators of the VisCom 2025 summer school.
