鈥楾URBOperchik鈥� competed with the best student teams of leading technical universities of Russia in the direction of 鈥淭hermal Power Engineering鈥� and took second place, losing to the winner only 0.04 points! The team consisted of the captain Antufiev Andrey, Plushchenkov Igor, Kholopova Anna, Tyukhteeva Sofia.

The guys brilliantly defended the solution of the case 鈥業nnovative solutions in the heat supply system鈥� proposed by the experts of Gazprom Energoholding. Their project involves the creation of an autonomous heat energy source using biofuel, which not only improves the environmental friendliness of the system, but also ensures energy efficiency, reliability of heat supply and security of the region.

The assignment was very interesting and allowed us to be creative. Our solution supports the local economy, as it uses affordable biofuel and also reduces the load on the environment.

Ekaterina Gromova, the team's mentor, noted the high level of students' preparation, their co-ordinated work and ability to find non-standard solutions.
