Ƶ student presented the university at the youth forum “Heroes of the Fatherland”

Maxim Faradzhov, a student of the Institute of Business Communications of Ƶ, presented the university at the Youth Historical Forum “Heroes of the Fatherland” in Moscow. The event was attended by more than 250 schoolchildren and students from different regions of Russia, deputies of the State Duma, representatives of the historical and pedagogical community. The forum was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

Forum guests familiarized themselves with the historical heritage of Russia, took part in round tables and thematic sections with historians and other experts in the field of historical memory preservation. On the first day of the forum the children laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, an excursion program and a historical lecture were also organized for them. On the second day, the State Duma hosted a panel session “80 Years of Victory: Uniting the Past and the Future” with the participation of famous historians, deputies and young scientists. In addition, the event included a youth creative session on historical education, cultural meetings, movie screenings and other educational activities.

“The plenary session had a strong lineup of speakers, especially memorable was TV presenter Ekaterina Shugaeva, who inspired me to delve deeper into the topic of search units. After that at the forum I attended the lecture “Until the last soldier is buried...”, where they also talked about the work of searchers and how the expedition work is carried out. In 2021 I have already participated in such an expedition in Rzhev from the Youth Council of the city of Vyshny Volochka. After the lecture I received an invitation to join the search team as a volunteer again - I plan to go.”

In addition, at the forum Maxim studied real cases of youth involvement in patriotic projects. The Ƶ student plans to develop his career in the field of organizing work with youth.

In winter Maxim Faradzhov presented the university at the festival of patriotic associations of the Union State, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Project Office of International Youth Cooperation in the direction of “Russia - Belarus”. The student worked on the project of the calendar of memorable dates for patriotic organizations of the Union State.

The student of Ƶ is actively engaged in volunteer activities and youth policy: he was a member of the Youth Council of the Central District of St. Petersburg, a member of the Student Council of Ƶ, where he headed the social and legal committee, participated in the collection of humanitarian aid to victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, in the events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the lifting of the blockade of Leningrad. Maxim is a donor - every four months he gives blood, and in addition, the young man is a participant in the project “Kind Wig”, in the framework of which he donated his long hair to children who have undergone chemotherapy.
