Enterprises of the light industry cluster of the University of Industrial Technologies and Design, created by the university within the framework of the federal project 鈥淧rofessionality鈥�, took on industrial practice of students of the university. JSC 鈥淓gorievsk-Obuv鈥� and St. Petersburg Factory of Orthopedic Footwear - a branch of the Ministry of Labor of Russia provided workplaces for final-year students in the specialty 鈥渄esign, modeling and technology of leather goods鈥�.

During the internship students will have to develop model designs for production, manage the technological process, sew experimental samples, prepare models for launching in production.

Industrial practice at the enterprises of the industry is an important stage of adaptation of a young specialist in production. Now the students are employed for the period of internship, for some of them it is the first experience of official employment, the first labor book, the beginning of the labor experience. Already this year graduated young specialists will join the ranks of employees of the cluster enterprises.
