April 19 is the Day of Remembrance of the genocide of the Soviet people committed by the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War. On this day KTMU and ISHO held events within the framework of the All-Russian action “Generations Remember”.
The College of Technology, Modeling and Management held a meeting with Boris Vladimirovich Slivkin, who told a personal story of a family that survived the war. Representatives of the “Victory Volunteers” movement also spoke, emphasizing the importance of preserving historical truth. The event ended with a speech by student Alina Chelyshkova.
A movie lecture was held at the Clothing Engineering School. Students watched the movie “Remember Your Name” (1974), after which they discussed it and talked about preserving memory and inadmissibility of repeating the tragedies of the past.
The events were part of the educational work aimed at forming a civic position and respect for the country's history. The organizers were the Youth Public Movement “PROMTECHDISIGN” and the Primary Branch of the Movement of the First in Ƶ.
