Ekaterina Poznyak, a student at the Institute of Business Communications of 草榴短视频, won the presidential Medal for her great personal contribution to the preparation and holding of the World Youth Festival (WFYF) 2024. A total of 24 people from the St. Petersburg delegation, which included more than 200 representatives, went to the World Economic Forum in Sochi. "In September 2023, I was offered to become a recruiter at the center for attracting and training volunteers for the World Youth Festival. For three months, my colleagues and I conducted interviews with candidates from four regions: St. Petersburg, Leningrad, Pskov and Novgorod regions, assessing their skills, experience and motivation to participate in the WFY. At the same time, I was interviewed by the team leader of the festival's volunteers, and in February 2024 I received an official invitation to the WWF. And then, thanks to my initiative, leadership skills, and analytical thinking, I was promoted to volunteer coordinator."
