On November 17, 2024, the Digital Forum “IT-Sphere: Key Trends and Prospects for Development in Education”, which has become a key event for professionals and students involved in the research and development of technology, design and artificial intelligence in Russia, ended in St. Petersburg. The forum was organized by St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design (SPbGUPTD), which brought together participants from all regions of the country to discuss key trends in IT and creative industries.



The educational program of the forum included round tables, lectures, panel discussions, interactives and master classes on working with neural networks, integrating AI into business processes, digital design and industrial services.
Panel discussions became one of the most colorful parts of the Digital Forum. Experts from leading companies such as Gazprom Neft, VK, Sber, MTS and others discussed the future of professions in IT and design. Specialists talked about how professions are changing in the conditions of digitalization and how to train the specialists of the future. A round table from VKontakte's motion design team was an opportunity to share experience in the field of visual technologies. Special attention was paid to the topics of neural networks, copyright in the field of AI and training for the IT sector.

One of the key elements of the forum were interactive zones from SPbUPTD partners: VK and Gazprom Neft, where visitors could try their hand at using modern tools and services, learn about new solutions and take part in drawings.
The Digital Forum resulted in more than 20 educational events: master classes, lectures and discussions from leading IT experts; a mass test drive of the VK neuropanel and Consta design-constructor from Gazprom Neft; more than 100 young scientists who received career counseling from representatives of top companies; and more than 400,000 participants who attended the forum. 400,000 participants who attended the forum and connected to the online broadcast.
