From October 21 to October 26, 2024 the delegation of PROMTECHDISIGN University visited the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia in Yerevan, where the international educational week 鈥淒esign Without Borders鈥� was held. Several universities from St. Petersburg participated in the educational week. Our delegation included students from three institutes - IDPS, IGD and IEST, as well as staff and teachers.

The participants of the educational week met with the students of the partner university, attended thematic lectures of the leading Armenian professors in the field of design and architecture, as well as familiarized themselves with the historical sights of Yerevan.

The educational part of the program covered such issues as: design in the era of artificial intelligence and emotional design, within the framework of the round tables the problems of development of international projects and ways of their solution were discussed. Teachers of the Department of Economics and Finance of our university T.A. Flyagina and E.A. Kraikina held open lectures for the participants of the educational week, telling about startup projects in the field of design products development, as well as about the inseparable connection between a marketer and a designer in a company.

The host country gave our students and teachers the opportunity not only to gain knowledge and exchange experience, but also to get acquainted with the unique culture of one of the most ancient countries on the planet, visiting the monasteries of Haghartsin, Sevanavank, the house-museum of Sergey Parajanov, the Museum of History of Armenia and the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial.

The educational week ended with the solemn awarding of certificates and letters of appreciation. Rector of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia M.G. Barseghyan presented the Head of the International Projects Development Department K.Y. Shirikova with a diploma for her contribution to the development of intercultural relations and strengthening of partnership relations between educational institutions.
