On the eve of the XXX International Festival of Fashion, Art and Design "Admiralteyskaya Igla", established by Ƶ, we tell you about the brightest participants of last year and about their collections.
Ekaterina Filatieva (St. Petersburg, Russia) is a graduate of Ƶ, participant and prize—winner of the International festival "Admiralteyskaya Igla — 2023" in the nomination "Only fashion".

Catherine's collection is called "marabou". The inspiration for its creation was a large wading bird of the stork family, found in sub-Saharan Africa, which is called the "savanna nurse". The work carries a deep meaning and raises the problem of garbage dunes in cities in Africa and India, where marabou birds have become full-fledged residents.
The designer used latex, leatherette, velour, tulle, fur and wool, and also used felting techniques and acrylic painting.
The designer continues to make art, create and bring his projects to life. In her future collections, the girl also wants to focus on outrageous and avant-garde.
