The International Educational Forum "St. Petersburg - the City of Discoveries" has ended at the University of Industrial Technologies and Design. The Open University as a platform for international cooperation in the field of culture, science and education." The forum was attended by representatives of China 鈥� students and teachers studying at various universities of the city on the Neva River.

The forum is designed to help foreign students adapt to the culture, educational and scientific environment in Russia, introduce them to the available opportunities presented by universities of the Northern Capital and various international projects, and motivate them with success stories of foreign students.

The plenary session featured a lively discussion on the problems of adaptation of foreign students to the educational environment in Russia, strategic opportunities and prospects for the development of international scientific and technical cooperation between Russia and China, modern tools for overcoming language barriers and the role of a foreign language in the development of cognitive abilities.

The forum featured informative reports on the adaptation of foreign students to the educational environment of Russia, on modern methods of overcoming language barriers, opportunities and various international initiatives in the field of culture, science and education for foreign students. I hope that the success stories that were heard at the forum will motivate you to new achievements and victories in the future. It was nice to see the high interest of the audience in the issues discussed, because the fact that in mid-August, during the vacation period, they gathered at the University of Industrial Technology and Design and took part in the forum speaks to the importance of the topics under consideration.

The forum also marked the closing of the summer school "Industrial Design" at 草榴短视频, organized by the university for students and teachers from Shandong University of Art and Design. Within the framework of the forum, the solemn presentation of certificates of completion of the international program to students who have successfully completed their studies took place.

During the training, representatives of China studied the main stages of the development of industrial design, the design of industrial products, shaping and coloristics, and tried their hand at sketching. The Chinese students noted the high professionalism of the teachers of the Institute of Spatial Environment Design of 草榴短视频, the richness of the program and the value of practical skills that they received while studying at the summer school.

The summer educational school that we held for students and teachers of Shandong University of Arts and Design is an educational intensive, including theoretical and practical classes in industrial design, as well as acquaintance with the culture and sights of St. Petersburg. There was also an exhibition of works and teachers of Shandong University on industrial design. It will also be interesting for our students to study the experience of their Chinese colleagues.
