The northern capital was decorated with billboards with social advertising designed by a student of Ƶ

On dozens of streets and squares of St. Petersburg, you can see unusual posters on the topic of ecology, the author of which was a student of Ƶ. This is the result of the youth project of the BEAC and the Government of St. Petersburg "Make it better".

Irina Peshkova became one of the three leaders of the project. She is studying graphic design in advertising at her native university. The title of her work is "Let the waste paper be reborn." Artificial intelligence, the Kandinsky neural network, helped all participants in their creative work. Those who were not yet familiar with the functionality of AI technologies could take the free online course of Sberbank University "Generative Art". And only then come up with an author's slogan and a visual layout illustrating it.

Social advertising through the eyes of Irina and the Kandinsky neural network now adorns video monitors in the city's electric transport. Irina's work appeared on billboards and public transport stops in Petrogradsky, Vyborgsky, Admiralteysky, Vasileostrovsky and other districts.

As the main prize, the winner of the third place, Irina Peshkova, went to Moscow, where she visited the headquarters of the BEAC on Kutuzovsky Prospekt and the international exhibition-forum "Russia" at VDNH.

Irina Peshkova, leader of the "Make it Better" project, student of Ƶ:

— Every morning, when I get off the subway, I see grandmothers handing out newspapers. And there are also a lot of discarded newspapers nearby. It was very important for me to touch on the topic of paper recycling. At first, I came up with a slogan, which I later started from. The theme of rebirth is how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly — also, discarded paper can turn into new books or useful magazines. Almost 300 students of urban universities decided to test their creativity. With the help of artificial intelligence, they have created about 500 creative works on significant social topics.

The expert council selected 15 concepts, and Internet users have already identified the best ones among them, on the basis of which they created social advertising.

Dmitry Sukhoverkhov, Chairman of the North-Western Bank of Sberbank:

— If you drive around the city now, especially in electric transport, you will be able to see a new, fresh look at social advertising. As part of the "Make it Better" project, students of the best universities in St. Petersburg with the help of the Kandinsky neural network prepared posters on a social topic. Thanks to the government of St. Petersburg, the project turned out to be really large-scale, and I am sure that it will be effective, because young people talk about themselves and their problems much better than the participation of some third party.

The Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, also appreciated the creative posters of St. Petersburg residents and noted that the city actively supports such innovative projects, including in such an important area for society as social advertising.
