Arina Chetverik, a student of the University of Industrial Technologies and Design, a fighter of the pedagogical squad "Phoenix" of Ƶ, was among 15 finalists of the educational project "Reach for the Stars", realized by the Russian Student Squads together with the State Corporation "Roscosmos" and the project "More than Work" of Rosmolodezh. Arina had the opportunity to attend the rocket launch from Baikonur Cosmodrome.
Around noon on May 30, the Soyuz 2.1a rocket launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the body of which bears the symbols of the anniversary year of the Russian Student Squads, and the Progress MS-27 transport cargo ship carries the flag of the anniversary year of the RSO. The flag will be delivered to the ISS. In 2024, the student squads will celebrate the 65th anniversary since the birth of the movement and the 20th anniversary of the creation of its modern history.
The launch was attended by representatives of the Russian Student Squads movement from all over the country. To be selected, participants had to show themselves at several stages of the contest, including publishing a VK-clip on the theme "With RSO always 20!" and telling in what field or profession they dream of becoming a true professional.

The participants of the project were current members and veterans of the student squads movement, representatives of teenage labor squads, participants of the student construction sites "Vostochny" and "Pomorie", participants of the Belarusian student squads who took part in the student construction site "Cosmodrome "Vostochny". As a result of the selection, 15 winners were chosen from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Volgograd, Saratov, Rostov, Vologda, Omsk regions, Perm Krai, the Republic of Crimea and Udmurtia.

"Before the launch, I didn't think I would experience such strong emotions, didn't feel how unique this event is. But at the moment when the ground trembled and we saw the flame that began to slowly lift the rocket, tears of joy, pride and happiness involuntarily came to my eyes. I couldn't believe that this was the moment that I would most likely never be able to repeat again. Apart from watching the launch itself, other events were organized for us. We visited all the memorable places of Russian cosmonautics, went to the places where tourists don't usually go, saw the Gagarin Launch site, visited the places where cosmonauts prepare for the flight. I am very glad that I had such an opportunity to be among the 15 best representatives of the RSO, to see what many people have never dreamed of, to touch with my hand the history, which is being written by the outstanding minds of our country right now", - shares Arina Chetverik, a student of Ƶ.
