As part of a grant project called "Sarafan Media Society" launched by St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technology and Design, an open dialogue with Russian cosmonaut Andrey Borisenko took place at Planetarium No. 1. The purpose of the meeting was to inspire participants to create patriotic content dedicated to Russian cosmonautics.
Andrey Ivanovich Borisenko is a test cosmonaut instructor, hero of the Russian Federation, holds the position of head of the Cosmonaut group at the Gagarin Scientific Research Test Cosmonaut Training Center. The total duration of his two space flights is 337 days 08 hours 56 minutes.
"Space exploration is now directly related to our lives. This is a fundamental science, which is the basis for all other types of sciences, including applied ones, and those things that then follow from this applied science. This is obvious to me, but for some it is not clear," the cosmonaut noted.
Currently, Russian scientists are actively working in the field of cosmonautics, and that is why it is important to create positive content and explain to the youth audience about the importance of space exploration in 2024.
In each educational module of the project, the organizers touch on the topic of space, bringing participants to the final event — a media marathon, where students will create final projects about Russian cosmonautics.
In an open dialogue, the participants were able to ask all their questions, as well as take photos and videos for further work.

"This is a truly unique experience that makes you think about life and how small we are within the universe. I also learned a lot of facts at the planetarium. It seems that this was all told at school. But when they said that the Earth collided with another planet and the Moon was formed because of it. There is only the phrase "wow" in my head," said Maria Antonova, a student at the Higher School of Printing and Media Technologies of Ƶ.
