Students of the University of Industrial Technologies and Design are launching a startup for the production of clothing made of natural fabrics, modeled according to individual customer parameters. In their work, the O'Lön brand team uses 3D-scanning technologies that allow them to visualize models on the customer's digital avatar and coordinate them without unnecessary fitting.
"We create basic clothing for women, help them take care of their health and comfort by using natural materials and taking into account individual parameters. Our brand already has customers. Now we are working on the first models, for which we took measurements using a 3D scanner," comments Marina Kontar, the head of the startup, a student of the Department of Textile Technology and Design at St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design.
Together with Marina Kontar, Sofia Elkina, a student of the Department of Economics and Finance at Ƶ, and Alesya Borisenko, a student of the Department of Management, are working on the startup. Now the O'Lon brand team is developing a collection of shirts for women for the spring-summer 2024 season. The next stage will be the opening of its own showroom in St. Petersburg, equipped with a 3D scanner. It is planned to open such showrooms in other major cities of the country - Moscow, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk.
The startup was presented to investors at the All-Russian Educational Forum "Personnel Decide Everything".
