For the second year in a row, students of the Institute of Business Communications and the Institute of Economics and Social Technologies of Ƶ participate in the Competition of Student Research Works on the formation of a tolerant environment in St. Petersburg.

Olesya Levkovets, a 1st year master's student of the direction "Brand Communication", became the winner in the nomination "Cultural Studies".

"The competition of research works gave me an opportunity to develop and realize a project that is significant for me - "Reading for Good". This is a special event in the format of literary readings for the charity fund "Artemka", the purpose of which is to form a tolerant attitude of the student audience to charity. We managed to organize the event "Books for Life". In my opinion, it is important to educate young people about the activities of charitable foundations already in their student years and motivate students to participate and help in their activities, because charity is responsiveness, responsibility and compassion for neighbors!", - said the girl.

Anna Maksimova, a graduate of the Bachelor's Degree of IBK SPbGUPTD, became the winner in the nomination "Sociology".

"The formation of a tolerant environment is a complex task that requires complex solutions, so the interest of all those who took part in the competition is of particular value. By creating a project of inclusive master classes, I wanted to pay attention to such a social group as teenagers with autism spectrum disorder, who face various difficulties in realizing creative desires and interacting with peers. I hope that my project can contribute to the formation of a friendly creative environment for children. I am sincerely glad that I was able to take part in the competition on the formation of a tolerant environment in St. Petersburg and I am grateful to my supervisor Smirnova Veronika Vladimirovna for support and valuable knowledge", - shared Anna Maximova.

Sophia Nerukhova, a student of the Institute of Economics and Social Technologies, also won the nomination "Sociology" with her work on "Prevention of deviant behavior of young migrants".
