The competition was held in the Khabarovsk region on the basis of Khabarovsk Technological College. The winner of the championship of St. Petersburg Marina Shulmina performed under the guidance of an expert-mentor, college teacher Natalia Nazarova. Preparation for the competition was held on the basis of the School of Engineering during June.

The participants for a limited time showed the skills of creating clothes from scratch - from the emergence of the idea to realization in reality. Competitive task of the competence evaluates the skills of a sewing industry specialist and consists of 4 modules. The contestants made a model of a dress, then designed and sewed the product - a woman's vest.

The work was evaluated by an expert group consisting of expert mentors - masters of vocational training from different regions, as well as an independent expert, a representative of the industry. The expert was Tatyana Vasilieva, designer, director of the studio of designer clothes, jewelry and accessories "Wings".

The championship was attended by students of secondary vocational schools from 35 regions of the country.
