For two months, the School participants attended lectures, trainings, gaming and educational activities, learned about the basics of intercultural communication and conflict resolution, team building and the structure of the university.
And now the guys are ready to become mentors for other foreign students and help them adapt to life in a new country and study at the University of PROMTECHDESIGN!
"There were many people in the Center for the Adaptation of Foreign Students who wanted to become a mentor for others, but they lacked the proper knowledge base to fully help foreign first-year students. Then the idea arose to create a school of mentors.
During the training, the future mentors studied a lot of material, organized a field trip, passed a test and created a "Freshman Handbook", which we will send to all foreign students before they arrive in Russia. This will help you get used to and navigate the city faster," Elizaveta Bokhanova, director of the Center for Adaptation of Foreign Students, told about the work of the school.
