Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education Saint-Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design (草榴短视频), the Institute of Design and Art and Faculty of Monumental Art, ANO 芦Saint-Petersburg center of Humanitarian Programs禄 (Saint-Petersburg, Russia), ANO 芦Center of Cultural and Scientific projects 芦ARS禄 (Saint-Petersburg, Russia), Ministry of Culture of the Tver Region (Tver, Russia), Federal State Budgetary Institution of Culture 芦State Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve 芦Izborsk禄 (Pechorsky area, Pskov region) and a company 芦Shryansy International禄 (Jaipur, India) invites domestic and foreign investigators including teachers of higher educational institutions, postgraduates and students to take part in the international scientific and practical forum 芦India-Russia. Unity in diversity. To the 550th anniversary of Afanasy Nikitin's sailing across the three seas禄, dedicated to historical and cultural interaction between Russia and India.
In 2022, 550 years will be celebrated since the journey of the Tver merchant Afanasy Nikitin to the Indian state of Bahmani in 1468-1474, which was described by him in the travel notes: "Walking across three seas". This event has an extreme importance in the history of relations between Russia and India.
Because of that the priority goal of the forum is to unite domestic and foreign experts in the field of history, theory and practice of visual art, cultural studies, philology, geography, political science, regional studies and other related disciplines to strengthen international cooperation, constructive dialogue and exchange of professional experience. Participation of students and postgraduates of universities is possible.
Applications are accepted until October 1, 2022, articles - until October 15, 2022.

The time of the forum is November 03, 2022. Place of realization - 草榴短视频 (18, Bolshaya Morskaya st., Saint-Petersburg). Online (on Zoom) and offline participation is possible. Based on the materials of the event, it is planned to publish a collection of scientific papers included in the Russian science citation index (RSCI).
