Federal state budgetary educational institution of higher education Saint-Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design (草榴短视频), Institute of Design and Arts and Department of monumental art invites artists, teachers of higher educational institutions, graduate students and students who study at the University to take part in International exhibition and contest 鈥淐reative spring鈥�. The exhibition and contest is scheduled to be held from 10 to 25 of March, 2022.

Objectives of exhibition-contest:

• supporting initiatives in the field of arts by professional and young artists;
• identifying and supporting of aspiring and talented artists;
• creative interaction of artists of various regions of Russia and other countries.

Organization of exhibition-contest:

Organizing and Exhibition Committees are formed for the exhibition and contest, as well as the composition of the Jury is approved, whose members are famous artists, members of creative unions, representatives of creative organizations and educational institutions.

In exhibition and contest works can be presented by the following categories of participants:

• professional artists with higher education in the field of fine arts;
• students who receive higher education in the field of fine arts.

Full-time and part-time (only for nonresident and foreign participants) participation is possible in the exhibition.

Only full-time participants participate in the contest.

Nominations (in each category of participants):

• Painting:
  monumental and decorative,
  easel,
  decorative;
• Graphics:
  easel,
  decorative.

The works of the correspondence participants will be broadcast to the audience on a video monitor during the exhibition.

Procedure for conducting exhibition and contest stages.

The exhibition and contest takes place in several stages:

Stage 1 鈥� application till February 20, 2022 by e-mail monumental-painting@mail.ru marked 鈥淓xhibition and contest 鈥淐reative spring - 2020鈥� (Pr 1, Pr 2

Attached to the application:

• a photo of the work (without foreign objects and frames) in JPEG / JPG format, with a resolution of 300 dpi, with a size of no more than 3000x3000 pixels. Works made in graphic editors are not considered by the Exhibition Committee,
• a photo of the author,
• a brief creative biography,
• a label for full-time participants (Pr 3).

Stage 2 鈥� Organizing and Exhibition Committee select works for participation in the Exhibition and contest and notify the authors of their decision by March 01, 2022. The authors list the registration fee to the details specified in the information letter, then send a scanned receipt to the email address monumental-painting@mail.ru or they bring the registration fee on the day of delivery of the work.

Stage 3 鈥� On March 9, 2022 by 12:00 full-time participants deliver their works framed with the full name of the author and the title of the work on the reverse side to 草榴短视频 (Saint-Petersburg, Admiralteyskaya metro station, 18, Bolshaya Morskaya st., hall of the ground floor). Graphic works are made under plastic glass, otherwise the Organizing Committee is not responsible for the safety of the glasses.

Stage 4 - installation of the exposition by the members of the Exhibition Committee. The Exhibition Committee reserves the right to reject some works that have passed the preliminary selection without reviewing and explaining the reasons. At the same time, the author receives a printed copy of the diploma of participation.

Stage 5 - March 11, 2022 - opening of the exhibition and contest.

Stage 6 - summing up the results of the exhibition and contest, the work of the jury members.

Stage 7 - March 25, 2022 - takedown of the exhibition.

The Organizing Committee is not responsible for works left at the end of the exhibition at the university for a period of more than 14 days. Nonresident and foreign authors of productions wishing to take part in the exhibition and contest in person, carry out travel, accommodation and meals at their own expense. Participation in the exhibition and contest is paid.

The results of the exhibition and contest

Laureates (winners) and prize-winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd places) in various categories of the exhibition and contest are awarded with diplomas. Other participants of the exhibition-contest are awarded with diplomas of participants. Diplomas are awarded to full-time participants personally. Correspondence participants receive a diploma in electronic form. Cash prizes are not provided to the laureates and prize-winners of the exhibition and contest.

The founders and organizers of the exhibition and contest reserve the right to include additional nominations. According to the results of the exhibition and contest, an electronic catalog is published, which is sent to all full-time and part-time participants.

The registration fee of the exhibition and contest

All participants (full-time and part-time) of the international exhibition and contest, except students and employees of 草榴短视频, pay an organizational fee of 500 rubles and send a scanned receipt to the email monumental-painting@mail.ru or they bring the registration fee on the day of delivery of the work. The registration fee is paid after notification in electronic form of acceptance of the work for participation. The registration fee is paid only from an individual (not a legal entity).
